BLOOD LINE: Clan Valus, Low Nobility of the Fae Kingdom Sitari
RACE: White Elf
MAGIC TYPE: positive

HAIR COLOR: The Elf’s shoulder length hair is somewhere between deep brown and coal black. Due to its length, he often chooses to tuck it behind his ears, as opposed to tying it back with ribbon or cord, like the tale of a stallion.
FACIAL FEATURES: The features of Galeon’s face are quite angular, from his chin to his nose, and even to the shape of his eyes. Strangely though, his brow ridges are more smoothly arched. His cheek bones are much less prominent than one would expect from his other features.
PHYSIQUE: Standing just over six feet tall, and about two hundred pounds, he is built more like an animal than a man. His muscles are toned for quick, explosive movements, like a tiger striking at close range, but not to the extent of hampering his endurance or balance. His near endless training has cut his body fat nearly out of existence, and left him the specimen he is today.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: Most notable are the tips of his ears, which instead of being rounded like the average human, come to a slight point. He also has an unusual tattoo on his left wrist: a chain of five linked circles.

PARENTS: Mother-Silaris Naoi (healer and priestess)-deceased (the Magical Illness; 25 years ago); Father-Brintariel Vale (Advisor to the Sitari King)-living in Trinyal Keep, Sitari Kingdom (329 years old)
OTHER FAMILY: Talus Vale-Twin Brother (Captain of the Guard for the Sitari Royal Family)
OVERALL HISTORY: Age 22-At the age of Ascension, Galeon and his brother Talus were apprenticed to learn their crafts. They were both chosen by the Weapons Master Zinvariel, and were began training as protectors of the Kingdom.
Age 44-Galeon alone passes the Magical Aptitude tests administered by the Elder Council, and is separated from his brother for the first time in their lives. He is pressed into an Apprenticeship with the Magi, a secluded sect of magical zealots, who believe magic is the soul of the universe.
Age 44-47-Due to his unhappiness, and the harsh treatment he received from his Mentors, he repeatedly sends appeals to the Elder Council to release him from his current apprenticeship. Finally, his pleas are heard and he is released but the Council refuses to allow him to return to his Weapons Apprenticeship with Zinvariel.
Age 53-After roaming the Kingdom for six years, with no true trade, Galeon is noticed by the King, after finding an injured Human Wizard on the edge of their lands. Due to his heroism in saving the Human’s life and risking his own in the process, the King allows him one request. Galeon asks to be given an Apprenticeship. Due to his age, few craftsmen were willing to take him and none who he wished to serve under. The King then gave him a special offer: a chance to join the Flyers: a secluded Order answerable only to the king. With no true choice, Galeon accepts.
Age 54-78-The young Elf is immersed into the life of the Flyers, including their role in the kingdom and what it is to be a Flyer. The Flyers are the King’s advanced scouts, trained as Diplomats, Philosophers, and Tacticians. Due to the fact that their duties often force them to travel alone, most Flyers are also trained as Herbalists, Swordsmen, and Weapon Smiths. Those members, who join the Order with an aptitude for magic, are encouraged to add developing their skills to the training that all Flyers receive, and he does just that.
Age 79-Galeon rises to the full rank of Flyer. In doing so, he is now permitted to travel outside of the Order’s mountain top monastery. In his initial venture outside of the confined walls, he reunites with his brother who has just been selected as a member of the Royal Guard. He continues working to master the skills he has learned, in particular his weapons mastery which he pits against that of Talus.
Age 106-After another twenty seven years of training, Galeon becomes the youngest Elf to ever rise to the rank of Master Flyer. As a Master Flyer, he is assigned a position training Novice Flyers in the art of Swordsmanship.
Age 158-During his years of teaching, Galeon becomes a well respected member of the Order. During the same time period, his father Brintariel is appointed an Advisor to the new king, and his brother is promoted to the position of Captain of the Guard. Because of his previous experience with the Human Wizard, the Master Flyer is sent out into the Kingdom of Kenric to investigate reports of an illness killing Magic Users.
Age 159-Upon returning from his mission, he finds his father and brother grieving over the loss of his mother. She was struck down by the same illness he was sent to investigate.
Age 172-After prophecies about a war to destroy all magic are made by members of the Magi, Galeon requests permission from the King to travel far beyond their borders, and search out the cause of the war before it consumes the world.
Age 176-As tensions between Kenric and Edlin grow, Galeon approaches the First Wizard of Raziel Palace. He tells the Wizard what he knows, and is granted a position at the school, though his full history is kept a secret. While at the school, he teaches combat arts to those who wish to serve Edlin’s military: all the while preaching a philosophic approach to magic and battle. He is friend to few because few will have him since he is not of their race. He hears whispers from the younger students about his being a monster, or a ghost, but he knows it is only that they do not know what he truly is.

GENDER: Male
AGE: 22
ANY OTHER INFORMATION?: Just that I hope you like him.
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: A chill filled the small study as a crisp, harsh breeze whipped through the scarlet curtains framing the double window opposite the archway to Galeon’s sleeping quarters. Stretching his stiff joints, he pushed himself off his bed, and trudged sleepily towards the window some twenty-five feet away. When he had lain down, it had been far warmer, so he could only guess there was a storm approaching. The faint sound of wind rustling tree branches played in his ears, as the first torrents of rain began to pelt the slate shingles that were the roof above his head. Water was already collecting on the stone sill as he pulled the twin windows closed, and then did the same with the curtains.
Turning from the window, the Flyer’s hand brushed across the top of his small oak writing desk, and quickly met a moist sheet of parchment. Even in the darkness that surrounded him, he knew it was the letter he had been writing to his brother and father in Trinyal. Well he would rewrite it later: what other choice did he have. Before walking back into his bed chamber, he retrieved a trio of scrolls from the top drawer of the desk. He was awake now, and sleep would not come easily.
Dropping the scrolls on the end of his bed, Galeon stretched his arms high over his head, feeling his shoulders and spine crack and pop. Rolling his shoulders back, he let his robe drop off his shoulders, and slide down his arms. Catching it on his wrists, he then tossed it onto a nearby hook. Scooping the scrolls into his hand and taking a few swift steps, he let himself fall into a nest shaped chair, piled with layers of cushions and blankets, and began dissecting the information before him. They were reports collected from Flyers working throughout the kingdoms, and the information disturbed him greatly. It seemed the Army of Kenric was gaining ground against the forces of Edlin. They were truly grave reports. He continued dissecting every line and figure of the information until sleep called him into her waiting grasp.
