PHYSIQUE: Faust stands at about 6'1, and weighs around 150lbs. He's quite athletic, and although he eats more than a cow, the fact that he's constantly moving, doing something, keeps him in good shape [not to mention that he has a very high metabolism]. He has broad shoulders and narrow hips; Faust also has quite a bit of muscle on him, but not enough to be considered bulky.

OVERALL HISTORY: Faustus was born to one of the poorest couples in Yurik, and he grew up being constantly reminded of that fact. While other children were feasting, he'd have to sit and listen to his stomach growl. Faust hated poverty from a very early age, and he swore that he would get out of it somehow. His parents considered him foolish, their family having been poor for generations. In their opinion, there was no way for any of them to become any richer.
Faust almost started believing them, until he fell very ill at the age of twelve. He ran a high fever, and was barely conscious for weeks. The people of his town didn't think he'd survive it. Lucky for him, a sorceress was making her way through town. She was on a journey, searching the county side for any gifted boys or girls to take with her to Raziel Palace. When hearing of the young boy who'd soon die from an unknown illness, she asked his parents whether she may have a look at him. The sorceress recognized him as gifted, with a very rare type of magic [he possessed both additive and subtractive]. His fever was mainly a sing, a part of the process in which his gift awakened.
The sorceress nursed him out of his fever, with the aid of herbs and a little magic, and after his thirteenth birthday took him to the city of Edlin with her, where he would study at Raziel Palace.
Faust was quite happy to leave his poor country home behind, as well as his un-optimistic parents. Three or four years after he'd moved to Raziel Palace, he heard word that his hometown had been invaded by troops from Kelic. His father was killed in the process, and his mother enslaved. The boy was distraught, but he knew there was nothing he could do until he gained full control over his power. He plans on saving his mother once he joins the war.
Faust led a happy life at Raziel Palace, surrounded by things he loved most; people, magic, and books. The teenage boy sucked up knowledge like a sponge; many predict that he will go far, and accomplish great things.
There at the palace he grew into a man, not before long becoming quite noticed by the female population [for his looks if not for his intellect]. Most of the time Faust however seems more preoccupied with books, not paying much mind with women, or men for that matter. He strives to finish his studies as soon as possible, eager to join in the war force and fight for Magic's right to exist.
