Well, she thought to herself, this place has at least some appeal to it... The young Confessor brought her pale palomino stallion to a halt by a lard, fallen and decaying tree. Vegetation any larger than grass was very rare in the plains, and Linyah was glad to have at least found this dead tree for shelter. In one smooth movement she swung out of the saddle and patted the stallion's neck as she walked around thim. Linyah stopped in front of the horse and placed her forehead the spot just above his nose. Closing her eyes for a moment, Linyah whispered a thank you, placed a kiss on the stallion's nose then walked around him to reach her saddlebags.
After some time, Linyah had fully set up camp, getting a small fire going, and having laid some blankets on the ground beside it. She made sure that the decaying log would hide her well. In these plains, someone would be able to see the little fire from miles away! She could not allow that. Linyah had urged her stallion, Dask, to lay down by the log, making sure that he too was out of sight.
Once she'd made sure that they were as safe as possible, she pulled out some bread and cheese, then settled herself on the blankets by the fire. With a sight, she pulled one of the blankets over her shoulders. It sure got cold out here at night. With a slight shiver, the young confessor placed the cheese on the bread and took a bite.
She'd left Edlin City that morning, and hadn't taken the time to stop and eat, just in cast they'd noted her departure and had sent some of the soldiers to go looking for her. Linyah made a satisfied noise in the back of her throat as she swallowed the food, taking a much lighter bite this time. A soft smile curved her rosy lips as she heard the stallion, not even a metre from her side, eating some of the golden grass from the ground. She was very glad that Dask was a colour very close to that of the grass out here, otherwise she'd have had to take another horse. He was perfect for blending in during the day.

Life was getting a little too twisted for Dailen at this moment in time. She didn't want to see or hear or even fathom the idea of half her friends being out right now in war. Technically, all her friends except Ackerely and Pandora were out at war. Though she couldn't locate either of them where she was now. She had to go to Edlin to visit her precious Haylan. But sadly, the girl couldn't find him anywhere. Damn this war that was going on. Edlin was swarming with soldiers where ever she turned; it drove her insane. At least in Eskil they were scarce. Staying neutral in a war had its peaks and it's down falls. That was her goal in life at the moment. Dailen planned on trying her hardest to keep Eskil out of the war for as long as possible. She didn't see a point to be in such a stupid war. At this point in time; the almost 21 year old couldn't even remember why the war had begun or who had started it. All she knew was that both sides were begging her in some sort of fashion to join the war.
Before when she had spoken to Silas almost every second of her life - while he wasn't at war of course - the king of Edlin had pushed the idea down her throat constantly. Mentioning on how much it would mean to Silas to have the "girl of his dreams" on his side. Yeah right, that was the biggest lie she'd ever heard from another man's lips. It seemed to her the only two men she trusted at this point were Isaak and Haylan; who had barely begun to earn her trust. It wasn't that she didn't trust Faust or Silas; she loved Faust that was for sure. And she would give anything for the boy; anything he asked of her would happen for him. But for Silas, after what she heard about him and that mord sith? Then how he nagged her for being good friends with a mord sith? No....Dailen at this point didn't want to even see his face. She didn't want to know how she would react around him any more. Thank god Faust hadn't come up and asked about it recently. Faust luckily hadn't run into Dailen just yet. Oh yes, she was sure Silas already got to the boy before she could. After all, they were in war together they got to see each other more than she saw them.
Sighing, the girl pushed her hair back out of her face as her legs moved slowly; carrying her in another direction. More off toward the Erian Plains; far away from the city of Edlin and it's hustle and bustle life style at the moment. It hadn't always been that busy; but now because of...Alright that was it no more thinking about what was going on in the world right now. Dailen decided right then and there the only other person she would think about if she had to would be Haylan. Frowning slightly, her thoughts were shattered as she realized a very unwanted fact...she wasn't alone out here. Damn. The one place she thought she wouldn't have to deal with anyone she actually had to deal with someone. Her white A-cut dress clung to every curve on her body, causing her to just stand there watching the person for a few minutes. A smile came over her lips as she spotted the horse the girl was with though. Oh did Dailen love horses. Clasping her hands together infront of herself, Dailen stood where she was just watching the two from their short distance apart. Her eyes now carrying interest instead of her annoyance from before...

She hastily ate the bread and cheese, far too hungry to take her time. Linyah had been taught since whe wasa child that it was best to eat one's food at a moderate rate. Something about digestion. The young Confessor shrugged her slender shoulders then turned to the stallion. With a soft smile she reached over and patted the horse's rump, happy that he was here with her and she wasn't on her own. Linyah had bought him three, almost four, years ago at an auction held in Edlin City. She'd loved the horse and taken care of him ever since he was a colt.
On impule, Linyah moved her blankets so they were between the horse and the fire, and she then happily leaned against him, feeling his warmth through her cheek. The stallion looked over at her, then nuzzled her face with his nose. Linyah let out a whispery laugh and petted the horse's head happily.
However suddenly she caught something from the corner of her eye, some movement. Linyah remained as she was, nothing about her changing except for the sudden tensenss in her muscles. She petted the stallion reassuringly as he snorted, feeling the change in her. Linyah kept her attention on the figure not too far away, glad that she'd placed the saddle bags not too far from herself. Slowly, pretending to be petting the horse down, checking for injuries, Linyah made her way closer and closer to the bags. The figure moved closer and suddenly Linyah leaped the last small distance, pulling out a knife. She was good at throwing, surprisingly so, considering that sometimes she had no balance at all.
She turned to the figure, her light blue eyes focusing full on it and she held the knife lightly in one hand, ready to throw it if there was any sign of danger.
"Who are you? What do you want?"
Her dark red hair blew wildly around her, and her eyes were fierce. If not for her expensive clothes, one could easily assume she was a wild woman.

Dailen was fond to learn more about this girl before her. Though she knew it was probably a risk she shouldn't be taking. Isaak often warned her about the risks she took. But Dailen knew her limitations. After all, Dailen use to be poor. The girl wasn't always the heiress to Eskil. So out of natural instinct, as she watched this unknown girl bend down and whirl around with her own knife, Dailen's hand rested on the garter that was under her dress and upon her thigh. There held a small dagger. Frowning, she didn't really want to pull it out. But as this girl asked those questions, she figured that she might need to. She seemed a bit unpredictable.
"I apologize if I startled you, that was not my intention."
At this very moment the girl slightly wished that she had someone like Faust around to be her intimidating guard. Growing up, she only knew how to steal. Pick pockets and dash before the person you took these items from noticed that they had been had. But it seemed like now a days, she could never get that type of break. Sighing heavily, she pushed the hair from her face before holding her hands up in the air to show she had no weapons on her...What a liar. Dailen may not be the safest person alive, but she definately wasn't the most dangerous. Sighing, she decided to not pick a fight with this girl. She had a horse after all; she could stab and run for it before Dailen got a chance to retaliate against her.
"I'm not here to harm you in any way. I'm Dailen, Lady of Eskil. I was simply trying to get away from everyone."
So much for that. For now she would have to deal with this girl about to stab her. Oh great what a lovely story she'll have to tell Pandora and Isaak when she got back to Eskil. About how this girl decided to pull a knife out on here and just stab her for walking around. She didn't want to know that there were that many psychos in the world; but clearly there were. She didn't like this predicament in the slightest and she wasn't about to try and make it worse by continuing forward. Stopping in her walk, Dailen let her hands fall back down by her sides calmly. Sighing a little bit, she looked away from the girl for only a small minute before returning the gaze once more. She didn't mean any harm, she really didn't...
"Your horse is beautiful...I was just admiring her...or him. I don't know which."
